I am an experienced Mediator, accredited with the Mediators' Institute of Ireland (MII) since 2010 and I hold Approved Advanced Mediator status with the MII since 1st January 2023. Since qualifying as a Mediator, I have worked with a variety of groups in the community, education and business sectors in addition to specialising in working with families and separating couples.
I am also a practicing Solicitor working primarily in the areas of criminal defence (as an advocate in the District and Circuit Criminal Courts) and civil litigation (primarily in personal injuries litigation).
I offer a solution focused approach to mediation, while prioritising cost and time efficiency. I guide parties through the mediation process as expeditiously as possible without compromising the quality of the work done by the parties. I am also very mindful of children's needs throughout the process, and encourages parents to enable their children's views to be heard within the process, should that be what both parents wish.
I am empathetic and compassionate in approach, and offer a comforting, yet direct and professional mediation process. I have many years of experience in dealing with relationship breakdowns and the related legal, financial and emotional issues that arise from the painful process of separation. I have developed a passion and skill set for mediating all issues of relationship breakdown.
I work with parties to achieve their best possible outcome in a gentle yet purposeful manner, with an aim to facilitating agreements at the earliest opportunity.
